11 November 2010 - Assuria secures investment from BAE Systems to
combat cyber threats
Assuria announced today that Assuria Ltd and BAE Systems have signed
an investment agreement to develop capabilities that combat threats
to cyber security. As part of BAE Systems’ Investment in Innovation
(I3) initiative the one-year programme will fund Assuria to deliver
new technologies in this area of international importance.

Technology Strategy Board and SEEDA funding for £1.7m
Information Infrastructure Protection R&D Project
Assuria is a key
member of the iGRC Consortium which has won a £1.7m R&D project to develop
an innovative model for integrated Governance, Risk and Compliance (iGRC)
from the Government-funded Technology Strategy Board and the South East
England Development Agency (SEEDA). The consortium was formed to respond to
the Technology Strategy Board’s 2009 Information Infrastructure Protection

19th February 2009 - Assuria at CIPCOG Annual event
Assuria will be exhibiting
at the Annual CIPCOG event which will take place on Wednesday 25th &

Release 2 and AutoUpdate #94 available
This Assuria Bulletin
introduces the second release of Assuria Information Manager (AIM).
AIM is an additional interface to the Assuria Auditor database and
is fully integrated with and runs alongside the current Console user
interface.
In Release 1, AIM provided a view of the Change Detection
information held in the Assuria Auditor database.
In AIM release 2 four new views are available:
• Patches: This
view gives information on which patches have already been
applied, and which still need to be applied for each host.
• Users/Groups This view lists the users existing on the hosts,
and of which groups they are members.
• Packages This view shows the packages which have been
installed on each host.
• Standards This view shows the vulnerabilities on Hosts,
summarized by Standards.
The Assuria
Information Manager (AIM) views are designed to help you monitor and
manage hosts and are intended for security management and for

April 2009 - Assuria Auditor Service pack 3 for Windows agents.
Assuria has introduced an
updated Service Pack for Assuria Auditor Windows Agents for Windows
2000, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008 and Windows VISTA.
This Service Pack will, when installed update Assuria Auditor
Windows agents from Assuria AutoUpdate (AU) 63 to Assuria Auditor
AutoUpdate (AU) 91 in a single update process thereby significantly
reducing the installation time for new or re-installed agents.
